The 4DCellFate final meeting took place from November 21 to 23, 2016 at NOVA Medical School in Lisbon, Portugal.
During the two days meeting the 50 partipcants discuss the latest results and main achievements of the project. The presentations were mainly given by PhD students and young post-Docs.
The goal of this workshop is to foster scientific exchange between scientists working on the chromatin proteome, the dynamic behavior of proteins in the nucleus and the integration and visualization of protein and DNA networks. There will be dedicated sessions on the proteomic analysis of histone modifications, of defined chromosomal domains and of functional proteomics together with sessions on quantitative proteomics, emerging technologies and bioinformatic analysis of large proteomic datasets and their visualization, with lectures given by leading researchers in the field. There will also be two poster sessions and several short oral presentations by junior researchers that will be selected from the abstracts.
The purpose of the Workshop is to bring together experimental and computational experts on eukaryotic genome architecture to discuss recent results on the dynamics of genome structural changes in response to external cues as well as during cell differentiation and cell reprogramming. An emphasis will be placed in the generation, computational analysis and visualization of population interaction maps generated with 3C-derived methods, in high-resolution microscopic methods for the analysis of single cell genomes and in modelling based on polymer physics.
This EMBO/FEBS Lecture Course offers five intensive summer days of lectures, research talks, tutorials and poster sessions, in a beautiful location. The event is co-sponsored by 4DCellFate.
On the 4th Munich Chromatin Symposium on Chromatin Dynamics outstanding speakers will discuss various aspects in this field ranging from atomic resolution to systems biology approaches. The event is co-organized by the 4DCellFate Partner J. Müller and YIP S. Hake.
The meeting will provide a platform for established researchers, as well as up and coming scientists, to present and discuss their work and the latest technologies used to study RNA.
4DCellFate joined forces with the IMPCC to organize an exceptional symposium on exploiting large data sets in epigenetic, genomic, and cancer research.
4DCellFate joined forces with the FP7 Marie Curie Initial Training Nucleosome4D and the Network of Excellence EpiGeneSys to organize the Spetses Summer school: Chromatin and Systems Biology.
Joint EpiGeneSys and 4DCellFate workshop for students and post-docs
A workshop on Epigenetics in Cancer: from bench to computer was held for students and post-docs from the EU 4DCellFate and EpiGeneSys FP7 projects. This workshop featured several distinguished speakers, including Ramin Shiekhatter (Wistar Institute, Baltimore), Luciano Di Croce (CRG, Barcelona) and Manel Esteller (IDIBELL, Barcelona).
The newly-funded 4DCellFate consortium will hold their kick-off meeting from 13-15 Febuary, 2012, in Barcelona, Spain, at the Center of Genomic Regulation. Consortium members will have the chance to meet each other in person (or to see each other again), as well as meet the European project officer in charge of 4DCellFate and the management team. The subprojects (SP) will be presented by each SP leader, giving all members the chance to discuss the scientific aspects and any open questions they might have, and to familiarize themselves with the project as an entirety.
